I cut a series of short films for the California Academy of Science on “The Twilight Zone”, a mysterious part of the ocean where divers with traditional scuba gear cannot go. Scientists Luiz Rocha and Bart Shepherd mounted this dangerous expedition to Vanuatu which yielded surprising discoveries of new and rare species.
