JAZZ DAY: Live from the UN Co-Director Theater Mode

 

The Inaugural International Jazz Day concert took place on April 30, 2012 at the United Nation’s General Assembly Hall.  Musicians came from around the globe to participate: Stevie Wonder, Lang Lang, Herbie Hancock, Tony Bennett, Wayne Shorter, Chaka Khan, Esperanza Spalding,  Hugh Masakela, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Zakir Hussain and many more or the world’s jazz greats.  Hosted by Quincy Jones,  Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas.  The 69 minute film blends documentary, interviews and live performances.
