Jazz Day 2014 took place in Osaka, Japan on the beautiful grounds of Osaka Castle. Streamed live by over 1 million viewers the concert featured Herbie Hancock, Gregory Porter, Marcus Miller, John Scofield, Dionne Warwick, Oumou Sangare, Esperanza Spalding, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sheila E and Thelonious Monk Jr. This tune was one of the highlights for me…Gregory Porter’s “Liquid Spirit”.
